ALTEN Energy Solutions is excited to introduce a new high powered DC Battery Charging unit to the North American market. Over the past 9 years, Christie Engineering, from Australia has developed, manufactured and sold the Outback DC chargers with great success. ALTEN is now bringing this technology to Canada, the United States and Mexico. Designed in Australia, Powered by Honda, and made in the Pacific Northwest. The High Powered DC Charger is an efficient, cost effective and proven technology used to quickly charge battery dependent applications. ALTEN will provide the DC Charger in 12, 24, 36 and 48 Volt configurations with both Honda (gasoline) and Hatz (diesel) engines. Remote electric start and other options will be available. Some of the applications for the DC Charger include: 4x4 off-road adventures and excursions Remote hunting and camping where DC lighting, refrigeration and communications is needed Marine industry with battery backup redundancy Battery backup applications in grid connected and off grid applications: Residential , commercial, industrial and telecommunications Services vehicles with DC battery charging needs Emergency vehicles including Search and Rescue to support systems Telecom industry with cell phone and communication repeaters The Solar Industry, including portable solar applications Recreational Vehicles & Motor Homes to reduce plug in fees and remote power needs
